Documenting meaningful Goal Directed Care Plans (GDCP)
This interactive 2 hour session will focus on how you can set meaningful goals and document GDCP that are useful for clients and staff. We will be focussing of the practical skills and ‘tricks of the trade’, using case studies and examples to discuss how to pull it all together and create plans that really add value to your work:
Who is this training for? This workshop is designed for staff who are actively involved in goal setting and care planning. It is an ideal course for those of you who have completed initial care planning training and want a refresher about how to make sure your plans are as useful as possible. Program leaders and managers are also encouraged to attend.

Supporting older people to access aged care services
This 90 minute webinar will provide you with an overview of aged care services and how staff can support people navigate the system, register with My Aged Care and make referrals. It includes practical information and advice about the pathways into aged care and service delivery options, how you can educate older people and their carers / families about different ways to access aged care services and referral tools and strategies to support clients through the process of registering with My Aged Care (and navigating aged care services).
Who is this training for? Any staff working with older people (and their families and carers). This includes staff working within aged care services and complementary programs where you may support people to understand and access aged care services.

Making consumer feedback work for you … and your consumers!
Delivered over 5 weeks, this training will give you the skills and confidence to design and deliver consumer feedback strategies that actually work – empowering your consumers to participate and giving you the information you need to drive improvement. We focus on practical strategies that are easy and inexpensive to implement and realistic to implement within a busy schedule.
5 x 2 hour webinars delivered weekly via zoom:
- Week 1: Planning effective consumer feedback strategies
- Week 2: Consumer surveys
- Week 3: Consumer interviews and focus groups
- Week 4: Creative data collection strategies
- Week 5: Using consumer feedback to make changes.
Each webinar will include a combination of information delivery, examples and interactive discussion. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions, discuss your experience and seek feedback on your own consumer feedback ideas.
Who is this training for? These webinars are designed for staff who are actively involved in the collection and use of consumer feedback to support ongoing quality improvement within your agency.
